PAL – once again experience and consistency in producing Quality rewards the Company as it endeavours to bring innovation to the sector
It is in this very context that ALIA spa confirmed the development of the third line for the recovery of over-screening material mainly starting from the flows from the collection of domestic and commercial waste in the area pertaining to the province of Prato.
This processing line can treat up to 40,000 Kg/hour of ground urban solid waste (USW).
As this is the revamping of existing plant lines, the line starts from the waste unloading and sorting point after the grinder. It consists in the sorting of organic waste and the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals (aluminium), that today are even more fundamental in increasing waste value. The line has at least 14 conveyor belts, iron remover, disc screen, eddy current metal separator (ECS) and loading system for two in-line moving floor trucks.
Besides the sorting of ferrous metals, the line has also been fitted with a high-performance sorter of non-ferrous metal to recover part of the aluminium contained in the over-screening flow.
The material fed into the sorter is subdivided into two fractions:
All newly delivered equipment is complete with structures, walkways and ladders to facilitate maintenance by ensuring a high level of safety and covering all necessary maintenance points. Despite the request to access to all maintenance points, the plant is easy to clean and has very wide and safe vehicle passages.
